What data is and isn't collected when you use A2ZKit, and the choices you have.

In short

Anything you type into our tools is processed in your browser and is never sent to us. However, A2ZKit is a free, ad-supported site: we use Google Analytics (to measure traffic) and Google AdSense (to display ads, including personalized ads where you consent). These set cookies and let Google collect certain data, as described below. You control analytics and advertising cookies through our consent banner.

1. Information we collect

Your tool input (stays on your device)

Our tools run with JavaScript in your browser. The text, files (including PDFs and images you open in our PDF and image tools), numbers, and other content you enter or upload are processed locally and are not transmitted to or stored on our servers.

Analytics data (Google Analytics)

With your consent, Google Analytics collects information such as the pages you view, time on page, device and browser type, approximate (city/region-level) location, referring website, and on-page interactions. This is used in aggregate to improve the site.

Advertising data (Google AdSense)

With your consent, Google AdSense and its partners may use cookies and identifiers to serve and measure ads. This can include your IP address, approximate location, device and browser information, and data about your visits to this and other websites in order to show relevant (personalized) advertising and to cap ad frequency.

Server logs

Like most websites, our servers and content-delivery network may automatically log technical data such as IP address, user-agent, and timestamps for security, abuse-prevention, and debugging.

2. Cookies and consent

We use essential, analytics, and advertising cookies. Essential cookies (such as your theme and consent choice) are always on. Analytics and advertising cookies load only with your consent, managed through Google's certified consent message and Consent Mode v2 — in the EEA, UK and Switzerland they stay off until you accept. You can review the categories and change your mind anytime in our Cookie Policy or via the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer.

3. Your rights and choices

  • Withdraw consent at any time using the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer.
  • Opt out of personalized ads at Google Ad Settings.
  • EEA/UK (GDPR): you have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, and port your data, and to object to processing. For data held by Google, use Google's privacy controls; for anything we hold, contact us.
  • California (CPRA) and similar US laws: using advertising cookies may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out by rejecting advertising cookies in our banner or via a Global Privacy Control signal.

4. How data is shared

We do not sell your personal information for money. We use these third-party services, which process data under their own privacy policies:

  • Google Analytics and Google AdSense (Google LLC) — see the Google Privacy Policy.
  • Our hosting provider and content-delivery network, which may process technical/server-log data.

Your tool input data is never shared, because it never leaves your browser.

5. International transfers

Google and our infrastructure providers may process data in the United States and other countries. These providers rely on their own safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for international transfers.

6. Data retention

We don't store your tool input or personal profiles on our servers. Analytics and advertising data are retained by Google per its policies. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and maintenance. Preferences stored in your browser can be cleared by you at any time.

7. Children

A2ZKit is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us and we will address it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date.
